The suggestion of a cheap bath mat or towel that we could gradually cut smaller has been very helpful. I appreciated that each SD Foundations group class began with working on that– it has become semi-default for hitch while away from home. The time in classes/ homework exercises on zen while standing or moving were next level for us. Just letting you know that your visit was exactly what we needed! It was a great reminder to Neale and I about enforcing the right behaviors, and reminding ourselves that all we need to do is 15 min a day. And the Be a Tree lesson with Clara was INCREDIBLE! Summer is doing so good!!! We brought the pug home 3 weeks ago now and they have become inseparable big sister and little brother!! They have been awesome! Summer has calmed down so so much with having the puppy, I think it tires her out a little bit! Thanks again! Penny and I really enjoyed the class and learned so much! I actually put my auto-response to use last weekend when we were out. I used the whole sequence (starting with the auto-response of “one moment” then the rest followed naturally)! Penny did great! A bit distracted but was able to refocus and stay focused while the woman insisted on asking me about service dog breeds etc LOL so that exercise in class got put to use right away.
